AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has decided to shift the administration by next April. CBN said that Hyderabad will remains as political capital of the state. Chief Minister ordered the AP Cabinet Secretary for temporary constructions in Vijayawada and intends to transfer some HoDs. There are around 20000 AP related employees in 53 branches are working in Hyderabad. All these people have to go to AP from Hyderabad.
On and average 50K employees (including their family members) have to shift to AP. The Government has not forced the employees immediately because of the studies of their kith and kin. The government might relocate some state-level-offices to AP in the name of convenience to the people. Some departments like irrigation and health ministry have started their functioning in Vijayawada. Now it is inevitable for the employees to leave the Hyderabad.
Shifting of 50K people from one City to another will make lot of impact socially. As per the real estate brokers and agents information, many houses available for rent in Hyderabad by coming April. Realtors said that some flats or plots will be available for selling for cheaper price. Real Estate in Hyderabad will be in stable or even down for next few years.
