There are reports that Kukatpally TDP MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao is all set to join with the TRS party. Strong rumours are doing rounds that there is immense pressure on him to leave TDP and join Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
A pro-TDP newspaper has reportedly carried a story saying most of the Telangana TDP leaders are facing extreme pressure to leave TDP and join TRS on the premise that if they didn’t succumb to the pressure, their personal properties are all set to be targeted.
And then they will be facing ‘other‘ problems. Madhavaram Krishna Rao is considered very close to the TDP boss Chandra Babu Naidu having been with TDP for nearly 30 years now. Moreover, he is the MLA for the Andhra bastion of Kukatpally constituency in Hyderabad.
Given this situation, any fence jumping would look interesting. But it is now a clash between loyalty and pressure. If Krishna Rao can withstand this pressure then he would emerge as the most promising leader for the TDP in future.
