Sooner or later, the battle for Sanathnagar Assembly constituency in Hyderabad is inevitable and in a way it is a big prestigious issue for both TDP and TRS. Both parties feel a victory here will send a clear message to the other about their total domination.
While TRS leader and former TDP MLA is banking on his personal equation with settlers here to gain more votes TDP is relying on its party charisma to attract more settlers. Faced with the challenge of such a magnitude, there are new reports coming in.
It is heard that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and TDP Rajya Sabha MP Devender Goud are currently negotiating to rope in former Congress minister Mukesh Goud. The battle will be confined to BC’s who form a sizeable chunk here.
And also given his clout among certain sections, sources say that he is an ideal candidate here. What remains to be seen is whether Mukesh Goud will accept this invitation and enter TDP. If that happens the entire political equation will change in Sanathnagar.
