In Telugu, there is a proverb that one should start from where they had lost, in times of difficulty and need. The same might hold good now for TDP boss and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and also YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The downfall of TDP in Telangana State started in North Telangana when the TRS party gained strength slowly from 2001 and after TRS formation, TDP was never able to put up a good performance like that of the past.
The same holds with Jagan, for whom at one moment in 2012-13, Uttarandhra was looking invincible and was all set to be his fortress but this crumbled, crashing his CM dreams. The situation of YSRCP looks quite dismal these days.
These days Jagan has started visiting this region often, including the nerve centre of Vizag and also CBN is embarking on an ambitious tour of Warangal district in North Telangana to revitalize cadres after a long lull. Let us see how this will work for both.
