TDP lost hopes for getting victory unanimously in Tirupathi Assembly Segment. Bi-election for the Assembly is inevitable after Congress party decided to contest in the election. Though YSRCP voluntarily withdraw from the contest, Congress leaders want to contest in Tirupathy to know the people pulse. TDP leaders have tried to contact Congress leaders but failed to get response from the Congress leaders.
Chinta Mohan is the leader behind the Congress decision to contest. Congress leaders asked Chinta himself to field as Congress nominee but Chinta denying contesting. Venkata Ramana wife and TDP nominee Sugunamma went to Chinta Mohan’s house to support for her candidature. Yesterday, TDP leaders Bojjala and Gaali went to Chinta Mohan’s house to discuss on election.
Knowing their coming in advance, Chinta locked the house and left away. Congress leaders and Congress nominee were oblivion stage till 5’o clock in the evening. TDP leaders are confident on Sugunamma’s victory. Late Venkata Ramana attitude towards common man is positive for his wife in this election. Even Congress cadre also has sympathy on Venkata Ramana sudden demise. Congress is just contest in this election to check the number of votes but not for victory.
