APERC has received report from AP Energy Commission on usage of Power from Thermal Power Projects in the state. In that report AP claiming the rights on Power Projects in AP because of having existed geographically in Andhra Pradesh. AP Energy Commission mentioned KTPC Phase-II and Krishnapatnam Power Project Phase – I will remain to AP. AP defends it claims rights on power projects as per the Telangana bill.
AP also demands that mini Thermal Power Projects like LVS and Srivatsa come under APEPDCL purview. AP Energy commission said that entire power that generated from Hinduja Power Project is related to AP. By this AP send dangerous signals to Telangana before the summer. Krishnapatnam Phase – I will starts production of 800 MW from February’15 and Phase – II of another 800 MW will starts from April’15.
AP demands 23 MW out of 50 from AP Zenco related Nagarjuna Sagar Tail Pond Dam Power House project. This will be shocking to Telangana state. Telangana might go to court on Hinduja against AP. Until and unless Union Government involved sorting out the issue, Telangana could fall in power troubles.
