On every Srinamanavami Government of AP was conducted the functions officially in Bhadrachalam Temple. Now Bhadrachalam remains in Telangana state. It is the question where Srinamanavami celebrations would be conducted after the division of the state. Government has identified two temples in AP to conduct Srinamanavami celebrations.
Ramatheertham in Vijayanagaram district and Vontimitta in Kadapa district are two temples for Government’s choice. As per buzz, Government has considered Voitimitta has traditional and historical one to conduct Srinamanavami celebrations officially. Chief Minister CBN was already signed on the file in this regard.
Chief Whip Meda Mallikharjuna Reddy (Rajampet MLA) took the initiative and made attempts to declare Vontimitta as Bhadrachalam of AP. Adding to that, CM Ramesh and Kadapa TDP leaders have met CM personally in this issue.
Vontimitta turns to be another Bhadrachalam in the state. Credit goes to Rajampet MLA Meda Mallikharjuna Reddy. He has convinced Chief Minister CBN with the history of the place. The place gets special attention by conducting Srinamanavami celebrations. The place has a significance where Kishkinda Kanda one of the seven khandas happened. The temple is constructed with 32 pillars.
