The ongoing budget session of Parliament in Delhi is expected to witness some political bickering over the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh. The Congress party in AP is enthused given the fact that their fight on this issue is breathing some life into the cadre.
This is happening here after a long time and with Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh expected to raise the issue in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha respectively, the session looks interesting.
At the same time, sources say that with TDP MP’s expected to remain silent and only register nominal protest due to ties with BJP, it is a golden opportunity for YSRCP MP’s to rattle the parliament and get some limelight politically.
If Jagan batch is again silent, which might be the case given his need to keep BJP happy due to his CBI cases, then even Jagan wouldn’t have any right to question TDP later on NDA’s dithering on AP special status.
