Is Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu playing with fire? Noted social activist Swami Agnivesh warned Chandra Babu against playing with fire by forcibly snatching lands from the farmers of Guntur region for the construction of new capital.
Swami Agnivesh said objective of the Government will not be fulfilled without any approval from the public. He warned of starting a nationwide agitation against TDP Govt’s land pooling from Vijayawada itself. He added just like they did in Delhi and Haryana, they will block national highways bringing farmers across the country.
Agnivesh said Chandra Babu’s statements like Singapore like capital will only help businessmen and real estate agents. However many are opposing Agnivesh’s comments and actions as he played the key role in the division of Andhra Pradesh by blindly siding with Telganana without considering even the legitimate demands of Andhra people.
People are questioning where was Agnivesh and the so called social activists when AP was divided by locking the doors of the Parliament. .
