Two newly formed Telugu states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh celebrated Ugadi for the first time yesterday in a grand manner. As a part of celebrations, Ugadi pachchadi was prepared and also panchanga sravanam was organised to reveal the forecast on what the new Manmadha Nama Ugadi has in store for people of the two states.
However what surprised many is panchanga sravanams organised by various parties came with different predictions. AP Government's panchanga sravanam hailed CM Chandra Babu Naidu's rule and predicted that state would prosper in his leadership. Astrologers predicted that he would defeat all his enemies and obstacles.
Telangana Government's panchagam heaped praises on CM KCR and astrologers predicted that the state would flourish under his leadership. Same is the case with the panchanga sravanams organised by BJP and YSRCP.
Astrologers present there predicted bright future for PM Modi and his leadership while for YSRCP,they predicted good days for Jagan Mohan Reddy in the coming year. Surprisingly even Congress got good predictions from the astrologers.
Many are of the opinion that these kind of panchanga sravanams to please politicians will reduce the importance of the forecasts and give opportunity for atheists to target them for their inaccuracy. Some say anyway on Ugadi, New Year there is nothing wrong in wishing everyone all the success.
