TTD officials and security are conducting inquiry on the robbery. The news of robbery at Tirumala Temple created sensation and people are shocked at the laxity on the part of the security.
Devotees are complaining that TTD officials are keen on making profits rather than turning the temple premises more secure. They cite tll now criminals used to rob devotees and target lonely people on the seven hills but now they got emboldened to steal the money of the Lord.
TTD top officials however say they acted in time and nabbed the criminal. They promise to be more vigilant and ensure that these kind of incidents do not occur in future.
