Referendum shocker for TRS?There is no confusion on MLC results in Telangana. People gave a huge referendum shocker to KCR led ruling TRS party in the state. People bought it down with a thud and with a warning that even TRS and CM KCR belong to the same political class and they don't give them special treatment respecting them as Gods.
MLC elections in Hyderabad,Rangareddy and Medak district gave a stern warning to KCR and TRS that people donot get carried away with their emotional and sentimental politics which they stoke all the time. When Andhra Pradesh CM,TDP chief Chandra Babu gave call that MLC elections should signal downfall of Telangana CM KCR, ruling TRS objected it vehemently.
TRS leaders boasted that TDP donot have such strength, but end results showed that TDP by supporting BJP, finally managed to shock TRS when Ramachandra Rao won the elections. People voted against TRS which insulted those who sacrificed everything for the cause of Telangana and also going back on the promises made.
Generally the parties which win the elections boast that it is referendum, while losers will oppose it. However people didnot give that chance to TRS as they not only cast their votes but also pointed out the reasons in letters in the ballot. This shocked all as people pointed that they fought for Telagnana for water, funds and jobs and not for family rule.
