Finally, the budget session of AP Assembly had almost come to an end on a positive note, with reports of a compromise being struck between the ruling party and opposition members.
Last week, the people of Telugu states were a witness to the unsavory comments made against AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad, which was considered insulting to the speaker’s chair, a respected constitutional authority.
With privilege motion being given to suspend nine MLA’s , including Kodali Nani and Roja, today the assembly was a witness to a rare moment of calm when one after the other, these MLA’s of Jagan’s aprty expressed their humble apologies to the speaker’s chair.
The speaker too responded positively saying they all need to work towards the development of Andhra Pradesh and uphold the prestige of AP Assembly. He accepted their apologies and said he hoped such things wont repeat again in future.
