Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who is in Singapore tour for reviewing the Master Plan of the state capital is in for a bad news. Naidu had proposed some changes to the Master Plan demonstrated by the experts there. Making note of those changes, the team had sought four to six weeks time to implement them.

In such case, the Master Plan which was to be submitted by the end of May, may be delayed further. The officials team which accompanied the Chief Minister made a detailed presentation to Singapore team regarding the land pooling process for the capital region. According to sources, there will be two ring roads and several radial roads connecting various towns to the core capital area.

The Singapore experts team promised Chandrababu Naidu to come up with a revised version of the master plan for the next meeting to be held in four to six weeks. The seed capital planning will begin after both the parties agree up on the revised Master Plan. The stone breaking ceremony will be held immediately after the Master Plan is approved and made to public.

The cash strapped Andhra Pradesh is planning to execute the projects in the state capital via Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. They will also be seeking the help from Overseas Development Agencies like Asian Development Bank and World Bank. According to Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, Center should fund all the expenses of the state capital but the NDA government seems to be not so interested.
