The main opposition party of Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has rushed for a meeting with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his appointment was okayed after a long time. It is known that Jagan has met Modi at 4.30 pm yesterday at his residence.
The main agenda of this meet was to make the Central government aware of the immediate grants to the state and the speedy works that are to be completed. Jagan was accompanied by his party MLAs and MPs. According to sources, it is known that Jagan has demanded to grant the Special status to Andhra Pradesh.
One of the YSR Congress men made it clear before the meeting saying "We got an appointment of Modi after a lot of difficulty. Our one hour long meeting with Modi will be a productive one with a detailed discussion about the burning issues of our state and the assurances that were given by the central government in the past. We also would like to complain about the threatening nature of TDP, the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh."
After the meeting Jagan also added the topics Polavaram and Pattiseema being discussed with Prime Minister. Jagan said that he explained the importance of the projects and the consequences. So, what do you think? Will really Jagan bring a change in Modi's mind?
