ESL.Narasimhan,Governor of two states,Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is in Delhi. He met Home Minister Rajanath Singh and speculation is on whether he is trying to get more powers to oversee the administration of the states along with the law and order in Hyderabad.Governor will also meet Prime Minister Modi, law Minister DV.Sadananda Gowda and Parliamentary Affairs minister M.Venkaiah Naidu.
Speculation is on whether Union Government will grand more powers to Governor Narasimhan following confrontation attitude of the two states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ruled by TDP's Chandra Babu Naidu and TRS's KCR.
However Governor Narasimhan speaking to scribes after his meeting with Home Minister Rajnath Singh said “The new states are on the right direction towards development,“ and praised AP and Telangana governments for handling law and order.
Home Ministry sources said “The meeting with the home minister was a routine one. As there are certain post-bifurcation issues ESL Narasimhan to be addressed, they will be sorted out through dialogue process,".
