Prime Minister Modi with his aggressive approach crushed many of his opponents enroute to Delhi to become head of the nation. In one or two cases he faced defeats which is just an aberration. Modi along with his close aide Amit Shah even turned BJP the world's largest party by conducting vigorous membership drive in the past five months. Opponents many question the validity over its membership drive but there is no denying that Modi enjoys tremendous fan following as he is active on twitter,facebook and other social media. Congress which faced most humiliating defeat is still under confusion as how to respond to this aggressive attitude of the ruling BJP. Its difficulties are compounded with Rahul Gandhi, PM in waiting disappeared just before the parliament session. But in a surprising turn of events Congress president Sonia Gandhi defeated PM Modi much to the delight of its supporters,cadre and leaders. The grand old party beat BJP in online membership drive by unleashing a smartphone application for party membership. Former PM Manmohan Singh launched the application recently.People can download the application and become Congress party members and also upload their photos taking selfies. This app is giving new experience to Congress supporters. Till recently BJP only tried to get new members through messages, emails. Congress with its smartphone application defeated BJP at its own game.
