Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT JEE) to be conducted by Central Board of Examination (CBSE) held today i.e. April 4.  About 13.03 lakh candidates appeared for this exam. This exam allows you entry into the magical world of the IITs/ISM


The entrance examination is being conducted into two parts, JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced. Candidates who clear IIT-JEE main examination are eligible to appear for IIT-JEE advance which provides and entry to IITs.


The examination will have two papers - paper 1 (Bachelor of Engineering/Technology) and paper 2 (Bachelor of Architecture/Planning).There were a total of 90 questions, carrying 360 marks. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be provided and for a wrong answer, there will be a deduction of one mark. Now that the exam is over, you must be wondering about the correct answers to the questions asked. The answer key for the other sets will be available shortly.


CBSE will officially release JEE entrance exam key  and you can even challenge the key. The challenge of answer keys will also be accepted online only up to 5.00 pm till April 22, 2015 on payment of Rs.1000/- per question.JEE (Main) exam will also serve as the eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which will be held on May 24.


While 13.56 lakh candidates appeared for the exam last year, the number of applicants has dropped to around 13.03 lakh this year. This is the third Joint Entrance Examination exam since the introduction of the two-phase entrance pattern of JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced).
