This seems to be a major jolt to the Andhra Pradesh state government and its Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who have been hurdled by 600 farmers who filed a petition in the High Court to allow their agricultural processes. The High Court has ordered to relieve the 600 plaintiffs from the pooled land.
The apex court warned the Andhr Pradesh government not to act the way it likes and implement rules it want to. The HC promisingly said the farmers to continue their farming in their lands. 600 farmers approached the court claiming that it would be difficult for them without agriculture for their livelihood. However, the court granted permission to the 600 farmers alone who approached the court.
It looks like the pressure is building over Chandrababu in the land pooling issue. Anna Hazare, a social activist also warned him that he would take up a movement if Andhra Pradesh government still continues to grab lands from the poor farmers. Even Power Star Pawan Kalyan stood with the farmers opposing the Andhra Pradesh government.
