Anna Hazare seems to have studied about the land pooling in AP and has almost given a type of serious warning to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He said that Sivaramakrishnan committee's points are to be implemented and not to cross any kind of limits in case of lands.
He proposed AP to be set as "organic farming zone ". Anna Hazare wrote in his letter saying "Regarding the building of new capital city, my advice to you is kindly follow the recommendations of Sivaramakrishnan committee appointed by the Central government to ensure maximum support from them (Centre). In the process of building new capital city, multi crop land in Krishna delta is to be safeguarded and protected to ensure the food security of your state/country. I wish to convey that I am not against industrialisation but would advise you to ensure that only non-agricultural lands are used for this purpose, hope you will agree with me."
It seems the social activist Anna Hazare will be very soon visiting the AP Capital region to interact with the farmers about their problems. However, the AP Govt.'s Media Adviser Parakala Prabhakar said that he will holding the responsibility to respond to the letter giving detailed explanation about the need of land pooling.
