What! Really? May be. We are talking about the race between the loan waiver of the two state governments. The Andhra Bank Chairman and Managing Director Rajendran said that the KCR led Telangana Government is heading faster in repaying the loan compared to Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Bank can afford

Speaking to the media persons, Rajendran said that Andhra Pradesh has still not given out the loan waiver to the horticulture and self help groups. He said "The loan waiver has not been implemented completely in Andhra Pradesh." He also mentioned that Andhra Bank can afford to help Rs 18,000 crores only while compared with a normal figure of Rs 35,000 crores to these groups.

Andhra Pradesh government undergoing a huge financial crunch

So, what does these comments imply? Does it bring any kind of decision making between the CMs. Well, one should keep in mind that after bifurcation the Andhra Pradesh government has been undergoing a huge financial crunch. Even in that tough situation it went ahead to waive the loans of the farmers. Notably, even KCR's leading step is appreciable. Hope they continue to be in a healthy competition.
