Elections for two MLCs through local bodies in Vizag district are inevitable in May month. TDP and YSRCP have concentrated in selection of the candidates.  There are 745 voters in local body elections in the district including MLAs, ZPTC and MPTC members. TDP has 401 votes, YSRCP has 278, Congress has 18 and 37 Independents will vote in this election.


TDP will get 2 MLCs in the district


As per the strength, TDP will get 2 MLCs in the district without any confusion. But YSRCP is trying to mobilize the support of TDP arch rivals like Congress and left parties to get at least 1 MLC in the district. Konathala Rama Krishna plans to hit YSRCP and pour water on its hopes in getting MLC in local bodies. Konathala seeks to field Gandi Babji as an Independent in this election.


YSRCP voters (275)

There are no leaders to lead the party in Vizag district. If this buzz is true, it is great shock to YSRCP. Most of the MPTC and ZPTC members in YSRCP are Konathala Rama Krishna followers. Babji will get more than half-of the YSRCP voters (275). YSRCP leaders are in worry about this. This leads to make lot of impact of next coming GVMC elections. As per the reliable sources, Jagan will convene the meeting with party leaders on strategy in MLC and GVMC elections.
