Actor Pawan Kalyan founded a political outfit, but has not contested the election.
He supported BJP in the centre and TDP in the state and indirectly helped them win the elections. Now that they are in power in the centre and the state respectively, he elicited a promise from Chandra babu that the person he recommended be made a member in TTD. One Pasupuleti Hariprasad who played crucial role in the erstwhile party founded by his brother Chiranjeevi was recommended by Oawan. Hariprasad who ran a corporate hospital in tirupathi being a local played an active role in the prajarajyam.

Now that Prajarajyam got united with Congress, he lost importance and approached Pawan to regain the ground he lost. Pawan has kept his promise by recommending his name to the CM. Not only Hariprasad, but every member in the Board is said to have had recommendations like that of BJP PRESIDENT Amit shah’s recommendation for tamilnadu based V.Krishna murthy, exCM Jayalalitha ‘s support for the Chennai based J.Sekhar.Central minister Umabharathi is said to have batted for Karnataka based D.P.Anantha and Central home minister Rajanath singh supported for Tamilnadu’s Sampath ravi narayan.As for asuchitra Ella , she has close connection with Chandrababu with tollywood director K.Raghavendra rao,who is close association with TDP is happy that he got the post in tirumala tirupathi deva sthanam after tonsuring his head. But all these are a disappointed lot over the time period which is only for an year.
