There was a lot of friction between film industry and TRS party during the period of separate Telangana and this had given rise to several doubts over continuation of the Telugu film industry in Hyderabad. This was more a factor due to many of them Andhraites.
While initial signs after TRS government formation and separate Telangana were not encouraging eventually there was warmth between two camps and there have been reconciliatory gestures between both the parties. KCR also promised a film city and other benefits for the industry.
