The Congress party that seems to be disheartened after the unexpected defeat in both the states, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, looks like making strategies to pick up the momentum in the very few party activists who are still hanging on tight. The senior Congress party leaders who had a long holiday till now have staged a Dharna demanding the Special status to the state.
Congress senior leaders stage protest
The Congress leaders include PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy, Chiranjeevi, Subbirami Reddy and Botsa Satyanarayana have taken part in the dharna that was held today in Guntur demanding the grant of Special status immediately. The Party has already done a few small protests while today it gathered to echo the demand in a stern voice.
Central Cabinet rejects Special Status
The Congress plan is to support Andhra Pradesh in the issue and agitate as much as possible to take away the credit if the special status is granted. Congress party looks like planning to get back its glory as it is horribly surviving in the state with zero Assembly seats. So, what do you think?
