I 'm Bhaskar Raju, software professional living in UK. I born and brought up in Anantapur and studied in NIT Warangal, India.
6 years ago, I moved to UK with my family and living in city called Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK.
Last 6 years, I 've been seeing the struggle of indian immigrants living in UK, with high cost of living, high visa fees, rising rent payments, housing crisis etc.,
There has been increased pressures on our people, which is causing mental health problems such as stress, depressions.
Recent Government policies such as NHS health surcharge, Visa Fees hike etc., putting additional burden on our immigrants. On May 6th, we 've UK parliament elections here. Due to various pressures, the ruling party conservatives, liberal democrats and UKIP party going to election by promising tougher immigration laws, which is going to affect lakhs of our indians settled in UK.
At the moment, the only party talking in favour of immigrants is Labour Party, UK. We all know in India about Tony blair, ex-Prime minister a labour party leader, who won elections 3 consecutive terms.
Historically, most immigrant communities have backed Labour Party, currently in opposition.
Now Labour party going to election under the leadership of Ed Miliband with support from Tony Blair.
They are very clear about immigration policies and they believe Immigration is important for Britain’s future, which helps our indians in UK.
In support of this, I tried to picture the words, by drawing few illustrations highlighting common man problems and showed it various Labour party candidates contesting elections.
They all agreed with me and encouraged me to draw few more like this. Now, they are using my illustrations in their campaigning websites, face book pages, twitter and other social media.
To bring all our indian communities together in support of immigrants friendly rule in UK, I developed website

I 've taken leave for 1 week in my office untill this thursday election and working on uniting indians for the immigrants friendly rule in UK. Till now, got very good response from indian friends and their families for my efforts as they can connect with the problems highlighting in my illustrations very quickly.
