There are many families in the state whose family members exist in different political parties. Ghattamaneni Sivarama Krishna (Super Star Krishna) family is also following the same path. Krishna’s son-in-law Galla Jayadev is elected to the parliament from Guntur as TDP nominee in 2014 elections. Now, Krishna brother Adisheshagiri Rao will be the nominee of YSRCP for MLC through Local bodies from Krishna district.
YSRCP has announced Adisheshagiri Rao name for MLC and Uma Reddy Venkateswarulu will contest as YSRCP nominee from Guntur district. Adisheshagiri Rao was actively participated in Congress party when YSR Chief Minister of the state. But Adisheshagiri Rao didn’t hold any positions at that time. Adisheshagiri Rao was tried for TDP ticket from Tenali Assembly Segment in 2014 but CBN denied because for Galla Jayadev. CBN feel that two members from same family are not good for the party.
Adisheshagiri Rao is right hand to Super Star Krishna when his career was in peak in Cinema industry. Adisheshagiri Rao was taking care of Padmalaya Studious projects both in Telugu and Hindi. YSRCP has no majority in local bodies both in Krishna and Guntur districts. TDP has majority in two districts. YSRCP feels that Adisheshagiri Rao will made lot of impact on MPTC and ZPTCs in Krishna district.
