People across Telangana are shocked to experience power cuts even as Telangana CM KCR went on record that there will not be any power cuts. Powercuts during the three days troubled people as summer heat too increased drastically.
Telangana powercuts revealed
Many areas in Hyderabad like Maredpally,Madapur,Miyapur,Kukatpally,Toli Chowki,Banjara Hills etc experienced unscheduled powercuts. Officials when contacted gave shocking excuse.
Electricity Board officials say long power cuts
Electricity Board officials say long power cuts are due to trippings caused due to increase in electric appliances. They blame over use of air conditioners and coolers due to soaring temperatues being the main reason.
Residents say during last couple of days they didnot have power supply during nights and even in the morning many places didnot have powersupply. Discom officials say though backup is available for the city, sudden load of three air conditioners from each house starts from evening resulting in load buildup.
