Telangana CM KCR met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, for the first time after the controversial leak of AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu's video in which he was seen luring TRS MLA Stephenson. This came after the arrest of T—TDP MLA Revanth Reddy in cash for vote scam in the runup for MLC elections in the state.

Insiders say KCR informed PM Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh about the developments in the case two days back before he flew to Delhi. Buzz is it was PM Modi who asked KCR not to address any press conference and target CM Chandra Babu precipitating the issue.

However TRS Minister says “There is no truth in these reports, our Chief Minister is very firm. Even on Friday night in the Nalgonda meeting he said Mr Naidu will soon land in jail. We firmly believe the ACB will name Mr Naidu as accused and the law will take its own course,”

Though there is stunned silence from BJP in the entire episode, senior leader of the party says Central Intelligence Bureau and IB officials already submitted their own reports in the entire incident along with Governor Narasimhan's own reports. Union Government decided to leave the matter to courts.
