No one can imagine this comparison. But some of Tamil organizations were showed Tamil sadism once again and grudge against Telugu. Tamilnadu Government has decided to remove LTTE Chief Prabhakaran’s statue in Velamkanni, Nagapatnam district. This added fuel to fire for some extremists in the state. For getting more popularity before the elections, Tamilar Munnetra Padai is trying to attract Tamilians with the agitation of removing non-tamilian statues.
Vara Lakshmi, leader of Tamilar Munnetra Padai along with 16 party workers rushed towards Mehata Nagar to demolish veteran glamorous Telugu Hero Sobhan Babu. Police were stopped and arrested them. They demand the government reason for the removal of Prabhakaran statue. They argued Tamilians should have statue in the state but not others. Amidst of this agitation, they are trying to remove Shobhan Babu Statue.
Sobhan Babu was not only Popular Telugu Hero but he was great businessman and entrepreneur. Very few were known this fact. He invested on land with all earned money. He spend very much disciplined life and build homes to the people who worked in his company at free of cost. Family members built Shobhan’s statue at Nungambakkam in their own place. They were not encroached any public place. If they committed to remove Non-Tamilinans statue from Tamilnadu many MGR statues were thrown into Marina Beach. It is very sad to compare Shoban Babu with Terrorist.
