Three days back, YSRCP made complaint against TDP during the MLC elections to EC. YSRCP was blamed that ruling TDP kidnapped YSRCP voters for MLC election. TDP has organized huge parade in Ongole Town with all its voters to counter YSRCP charges. Party leaders was conducted a meeting with all MPTC, ZPTC and Municipal Ward Members in TDP office. Election for MLC in local bodies’ category will be held on July 03rd.
538 voters were participated in parade that made satisfaction to the party leaders. Out of total 991 votes, TDP gets 538 voters support in this election. After this parade, TDP gets 85 more votes than YSRCP in MLC election. TDP leaders organized Mock polling to educate the MPTC, ZPTC and Ward Members how to vote to TDP. YSRCP had won majority of Assembly seats and MP segment over TDP in 2014 general election.
It seems that TDP has majority in Chirala, Parchuru, Kondepi, Darsi and Santhanuthalapadu where as YSRCP is dominated in Giddalur, Markapur, Kanigiri, Y.Palem and Ongole segments. YSRCP leaders failed to get appointment of Governor because of latter’s sudden visit to New Delhi. Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy has planned to file petition in High Court on kidnapping of YSRCP voters by TDP.
