Governor Narsimhan has reportedly met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today in Delhi for a crucial meeting which has reportedly lasted for more than one and half hour, according to sources. If the media reports are to be believed, there has been no clarity on his replacement as yet.
But there
are few reports that this meeting has to do more with Section 8 that entails
law & order powers of Hyderabad to the Governor of both states. Centre is
reportedly keen that the note for vote scam now comes under this purview, as
per which the case would have to proceed from now on.
Narsimhan gets an appointment with the President
Some of
the reports also add that this may be too early to predict the outcome of talks
and things would be clearer only after Narsimhan gets an appointment with the
President and the Prime Minister today in the evening. Only after this the
final outcome may be revealed by the Governor.
However there are some rumours doing rounds that since Section 8 is already listed in AP bifurcation act, the centre is going forward regarding the same and wants to end all future conflicts too between two states pertaining to Hyderabad for the coming nine years. So, is there is some good news in the offing for battered Naidu.
