This should be termed as a shocking news to the Andhra Pradesh government and people who are trying their best to get the Special Status granted to the state. Raking the issue about Special Status, the Union Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju today gave no hope of special status this monsoon.
He further said the government may not place the Special Status bill in this monsoon session of Parliament. Speaking to the media at Srikakulam, Mr Raju said that after bifurcation the state has been suffering from a huge financial crunch. He reminded that the Special Status has not been included in the bill and that is the main reason behind the delay and may not come even now into existence.
