People of India pride themselves of having many star politicians who have tremendous fan following. However inspite of having following in masses and leading a luxurious lives, they are not having peaceful sleep during nights as scams snakes are swallowing them. Congress has Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and many other senior leaders while BJP has Narendra Modi, Amit Shah.

There is no single politician in the country who has a clean record and who is only dedicated to serve the cause of the people. While Sonia Gandhi's name cropped up in various scams and her son in law Robert Vadra used her powers to benefit illegally, Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have the blot of Gujarat riots and others.
When heads of national parties are like that, leaders followed suit. Regional parties are no different. Be it Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mayavathi, Jayalalitha,Karunanidi, Chandrababu, Jagan Mohan Reddy, KCR, Yeduyurappa, Deva Gowda, Vasundhara Raje, Sharad Pawar, Aravind Kejriwal all got embroiled in various scams.
People feel cheated and lament their options saying when leaders got drowned in scams lured by worldly pleasures, how could they serve them and the country, working for the overall development.
