Well, there were news about the Telangana Congress party senior leader and the ex-PCC D Srinivas is all set to join the pink party very soon and will be quitting Congress. Making the news true, D Srinivas quit Congress and gave a big shock to the High Command. He calls off his longest political journey in Congress and will be joining TRS on 6th July.
It seems he will joining in presence of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao when he comes to launch the Haritha Haram programme in Nizamabad district. Already MP Kavitha has a strong following in the Nizamabad district and such a senior leader joining Congress is a boost to the TRS party. After the Akarsh program on TDP, KCR seems to have shifted the focus onto the main opposition Congress.
So, should wait and see who else is on the board! Meanwhile, few Congress leaders left to D Srinivas's house to talk with him and pacify him while he was unavailable. TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy said that no leader from Congress is leaving and joining TRS and Congress party is very strong in the region.
