It is no less a relief for TDP fans and cadre. Their leader Chandrababu Naidu has just emerged from one of his disastrous crisis in lifetime. This also caused a major upheaval in TDP for the first time after August 1995 when NTR was dethroned and Babu took the reins of power aided by his henchmen.

Looking at the crisis involving Note for Vote scam and Stephenson Audio Tapes, rivals of Naidu in different parties who were at his receiving end at one point of time were excited in glee. They wanted to see Naidu face ignominy and public censure since they feel even YSR protected him and didn’t cross his limits.

This was also reflected in the reported statements of Chandrababu who also claimed in AP cabinet meeting that KCR crossed limits which YSR also couldn’t. But anyway past is past but Chandrababu seems to be happy nevertheless for emerging unscathed out of this crisis without even any notice.
The leaders of TDP are also immensely thankful to one more thing that is ‘timing. It is usually said that public memory is short especially for politicians in India. This surfaced just one year of coming to power and not before one year of 2019 elections, so they feel 4 years is a long time for Naidu to come out of this stigma.
