It seems that YSRCP has more chances to win over ruling TDP in Kurnool MLC election through local bodies. YSRCP leaders are looking blissful mood after completing 99.35% polling in MLC election. They discussed among themselves that heavy polling would favor to their party. YSRCP has no chance in Prakasam district. 73% polling is recorded in the district even after YSRCP called for boycott the election.
YSRCP leaders in the district were active on July 02nd (one day before the election). As per buzz, YSRCP cadre was distributed 50K to 1 lac rupees to the voters. YSRCP also tried for TDP voters in Nandikotkur, Emmiganur, Paanyam and Kodumur. Reportedly, YSRCP leaders were partially successful in attracting TDP voters and planned campaign before the polling day. MIM and Congress support is added advantage to YSRCP.
It seems that TDP leaders relaxed after YSRCP decided to boycott Praksam election. They were in assumption that YSRCP did the same in Kurnool district. TDP leaders are still confident that Silpa Chakrapani Reddy would elect even with minimum majority. KE brothers have tried and worked hard for TDP victory in this election. They would be blamed if TDP lost in this election on July 07th.
