For the first time ever in nearly one year, the Governor has finally stepped in and responded positively to AP's concerns, aided by definite action. Recently it is a known fact that Dr. BR Ambedkar University and Telugu University were taken over by Telangana government in Hyderabad.

TS has now claimed complete control over the institutions according to the AP Re-Org Act and now AP has no jurisdiction which left many
Seemandhra students enrolled in the universities at a disadvantage due to the instructions. Dr. BR Ambedkar University operates many study
centres across AP.The University has announced that all those study centres will now be shut down and students enrolled there should be coming to Hyderabadand in case AP needs any assistance they should give a request in writing to the Telangana government for considering the request on
merit.
AP government conveyed
This time, sources say that the AP government conveyed its concerns directly to the Governor who reportedly straightaway issued instructions for the Universities asking them to keep status quo in all decisions which also includes new admissions. The TRS government which is displeased is reportedly seeking the opinion of its advocate general , to approach the court if any !
