There are reports that the Congress high command is planning some changes in the AP unit of Congress party. Although Congress has no problem with the current incumbent Raghuveera Reddy as PCC President, the party is reportedly of the opinion that has failed in stemming the exodus of key leaders.

In the recent months, Botsa and many others had switched over to TDP and YSRCP. In a way the party feels that younger blood would usher its revival in Andhra Pradesh.  Many feel that any association with Congress in AP is political suicide for the politicians.

Congress had reportedly offered Chiru

The Congress had reportedly offered Chiru, the post of PCC chief of AP as well Anam Vivekananda Reddy and also Pallam Raju. The last two leaders had promised the High Command that they would think about it.

Sources also add that it is challenging that the Congress will zero in on a suitable candidate for the post of PCC chief in AP. However there is also a twist in the tale. There is a talk doing the rounds that in case Raghuveera is made to quit PCC chief post, he may be the next one after Botsa to join YSRCP.
