Yakub Memon life hangs in balance between hope and gloom till midnight. Nagpur Jail authorities finally implemented Supreme Court orders and was hanged Yakub Memon at 7 am in the morning. By today (July 30th), Yakub turns to 53 years. It’s coincidence that his death day falls on his birthday.
On occasion of his birthday, Yakub Memon’s family sent cake to Nagpur Central Prison at midnight. Reportedly, Jail authorities showed the cake to Yakub Memon a few hours before the hanging. Memon’s brother Suleman was there in Nagpur Jail on yesterday and hoping for good news from Supreme Court.
NDA government allowed the his family members into the prison where as UPA government not allowed Ajmal Kasab’s family into Yerwada Jail when he was hanged on November 2012. After rejecting his bail plea in Supreme Court, Yakub confirmed that his death was unstoppable. As per buzz, he told to guard that his issue was become politicized and only miracle can save him.
