Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu prides himself as modern day chanakya and many hail him as king maker. Chandrababu himself manytimes boasted that he played key role in getting two Prime Ministers Deve Dowda and IK.Gujral get elected by convincing various regional parties.
However now he is facing attacks from all quarters for unable to get special status on Andhra Pradesh. Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSRCP and Chiranjeevi of Congress blasted him for not acting tough and get special status to Andhra Pradesh from PM Modi whom he supported in the last elections.
To the top of it deafening silence of TDP MPs in the parliament when the Union Government announced that special status was not possible is having negative effect on his government.

all MPs are ready to quit their posts in support of special status, nothing
substantial will happen as the action will not shake Union Government and PM
Modi.
He said
PM Modi is not scared of Chandrababu Naidu and TDP's threats as they have
absolute majority in parliament. He said only by consultations and persuations
anything could be achieved.
