Successive Indian governments for many decades have been trying to bring dreaded underworld don Dawood Ibrahim to the country and punish him for the crimes he committed along with Mumbai bomb blasts in 1993.However Dawood eluded Indian sleuths and its neighbour Pakistan which always spews venom brewing terror in the country has been giving shelter to the don. Despite many reminders that Dawood is residing in Pakistan, the country always fooled international community just like it did in case of nternational terrorist,Alqaeda chief Osama Bin Laden.

Now RK.Singh,former Union Secretary made a startling revelation that India sometime back planned undercover operation to kill Dawood. He said AK.Dowal, current National Security Advisor who then headed Intelligence Bureau in Vajpayee Government came with a plan to eliminate Dawood.
According to it he used Dawood's rival gang Chota Rajan members to target him when he was about to travel for his daughter's wedding in 2005. However in a sudden twist of events Mumbai cops emerged from no where and spoiled the plot by arresting Rajan's accomplice Rafeed Tanasha and Vicky Malhotra in Delhi. Malhotra and Tanasha flew to Delhi to discuss about how to execute the plan.
