What! Really? Absolutely true! Well, before you make any conclusions, go through the story below. The Telangana Excise Minister T. Padma Rao attended today's press meet in a unique way with liquor bottle display. Speaking about the cheap liquor policy, Mr Padma Rao said that this is a great step to curb Gudumba which has been a killer for so many years.
He said that the cheap liquor will be in market from October 1st. Blasting at the opposition, Padma Rao said "Government's objective is to save people from not falling to the trap of llicit-distilled liquor. Hence we're launching cheap alcohol from Oct 1. This is to only reduce the prices of liquor and provide a better quality one."
However, the opposition party leaders are now stirring row over the liquor bottles in Secretariat. The leaders questioned how did the minister carry the bottles into the Secretariat.
Well, the minister is yet to respond about it.
