The Hyderabad high court has reportedly given a 10-day deadline for the Centre in resolving the ongoing tussle which is happening between Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana that has been affecting over 1,200 power sector employees. The court has issued  this diktat following a plea by the 1,200 employees, who were forcibly relieved from Telangana power distribution companies.

At the same time, they haven’t been absorbed by AP. Earlier, the Centre had reportedly informed the court that a special committee will be resolving the issues related to the division of employees between the state of AP and Telangana. The Sheela Bhide committee that has been entrusted with the task handling the assets and liabilities between the two states would also be presiding over the division of employees.
