Hero Mahesh adopting the undeveloped village and make it developed in the film Srimanthudu. On responding to Chief Minister Chandra Babu’s call many NRIs and industrialists have come forward and adopting thousands of villages in the state. Adopting the village is not great now-a-days, adopting notorious faction village is really great. This is what happened in Kurnool district.
Kapatrala, the village in the district is well-known for revenge murders and faction killings. 3000 people from 800 families lived in this village. Families together lost their lives in the village in faction killings. 21 people are facing life imprisonment from Kapatrala. Kurnool SP A.K. Ravi Krishna is adopting Kapatrala village now. SP is concentrated on faction villages soon after he transferred to Kurnool district. He started literacy programmes in the village. He forced Kurnool Collector to sanction 60 lacs for the construction of 10 rooms in government school.
Using his influence, Ravi Krishna sanctioned another 28 lacs for construction of roads and developed connectivity to Kapatrala village. He also invited funds from Corporate Cement companies for the construction of roads. Ravi Krishna gave training to 59 people from Kapatrala for security guard training. 12 of them selected as Security guards in Krishnapatnam port. He also went for teaching to the village in spare time. Kurnool SP is committed to build his new house in Kapatrala. Hat’s Off to SP.
