Many after hearing Venkaiah Naidu's words thought him to be Super Star Mahesh Babu. However his detractors say people misunderstood him.
They say he is not Mahesh Babu in Srimanthudu who goes to any extent to develop his native village, but is his father Jagapathy Babu who refuses to help his village having a grudge against the people.

Many say since his family and relatives have many properties in TN,he preferred the state.
