The Telugu Desam Party government has reportedly taken a decision not to go ahead with the land acquisition process for the new capital city of Amaravati, as it has now more or less started snowballed into a major political controversy. TDP government planning to go slow comes at a time when YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy took out a large scale deeksha at Vijayawada.

But now whole credit is now being given to actor-turned-politician and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. In fact, Pawan made just one major move to stop land acquisition by the TDP government, after his online tweet war with TDP leaders. He rushed to the villages expressing solidarity with those who were unwilling to part with lands under TDP’s dangling threat.

While Jagan also came to know about the second thoughts of TDP government regarding the land acquisition, Pawan reportedly reacted quickly and also went ahead and posted on the popular social networking site, where he thanked AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for reconsidering the decision.

He also expressed thanks to ministers Narayana and Pulla Rao for bravely stalling the land acquisition. This has now more or less denied political mileage to Jagan, who has been trying to do everything he can to get limelight. So there is no easy chance for Jagan to claim victory on TDP’s backtracking.
