Amidst the bulging support for Special Status to Andhra Pradesh, the Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu looks like stern about his views. He said that the BJP government will never ditch any state and will grant all the things promised during the elections. He said that Centre is in "no compromise" mood and will have to wait.
Revealing the fact of tidious work over Special Status, Mr Naidu said that he discussed about the issue with higher officials and NITI Ayog officials about the incentives and packages that will be delivered to Andhra Pradesh. It seems Special Status issue was discussed for about 2 hours.
Naidu made it a point to take the seriousness of Special Status to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi with much detailed report. Notably, nine different states are seeking Special Status.
