Even before the formal announcement of by elections for Warangal Lok Sabha constituency, choosing a right  candidate is reportedly becoming a bone of contention for the NDA partners BJP and TDP. While the BJP had contested the last elections here with the support of the TDP, the latter wants to contest here now which is not being tolerated by BJP.

Although the Warangal bypoll is nearly three months away , it is generating heat in the NDA camp with both BJP and TDP becoming serious on candidate choice. BJP leaders feel that they require a united fight for fighting stronger TRS and this internal contest between both parties is not good sign.

G Kishan Reddy feels there may be nothing wrong

While Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy feels there may be nothing wrong in the TDP planning to contest Warangal by-elections, nothing is finalized yet while TDP leader and also Qutbullapur MLA Vivekananda Goud feels TDP has brighter chances of winning thios seat when compared to the BJP.

TDP's floor leader in the state assembly Erraballi Dayakar Rao is advocating for the TDP's candidature in the Warangal by-poll since Dayakar Rao wants to teach deputy CM Kadiam Srihari, his bête noire a lesson as he is very upset that Srihari has been challenging him all the while.
