Telangana government headed by KCR acted tough by stalling the padayatra of BJP president Kishan Reddy at Warangal today.
Kishan Reddy launched his padayatra demanding early completion of pending irrigation projects on Godavari river and planned to go from Kantanapalli Project to Devadula Project.

However he was arrested by police who stated that Kishan Reddy do not have permission to take on the yatra. Tensions increased as BJP workers tried to prevent police from arresting their leader. Kishan Reddy earlier said suicides are increasing among farmers as Government failed to implement crop loan waiver scheme systematically. He accused Congress of doing injustice to the state of Telangana.
